About Legend Landscape Co

There is a particular Saturday in May on Long Island when every yard in Deer Park seems to grow four inches overnight, and the whole neighborhood decides at once that it is time. Legend Landscape Co answers that week and the twenty-odd that follow, mowing through the grid of postwar streets where pin oaks lean over the curb and the shade shifts the grass from bright to deep green in the same pass. Height set right, deck clean, corners taken slow so the turf comes out even instead of scalped. Fall brings the other half of the calendar — leaves hauled off, beds squared away, the lawn put down for its rest. A yard kept this way holds its shape all season, and that is the point of it.
