About Eshelmans Home and Lawn Services

Summer light lasts a long time in De Kalb Junction; the sun sets late over the St. Lawrence flats and the mowing hour stretches well past supper. Eshelmans Home and Lawn Services uses all of it, cutting grass, trimming the edges around posts and porches, and clearing the yard in spring and again once the leaves come down. Up here the growing season is short and generous at once, everything greening hard in June and running fast until the first cold nights arrive. Staying ahead of that surge, week by week, is what keeps a farmhouse yard looking cared for right through August. Along the Oswegatchie country roads, that shows from a good distance.
