Farrell's Lawn Service

About Farrell's Lawn Service

Late on a June evening in Dansville, when the heat finally lets go and Canaseraga Creek runs cool below the road, the smell of cut grass carries a long way. Farrell's Lawn Service is part of that smell, mowing, running the string trimmer down the fence lines, edging the walks and hauling off the leaves once the maples let go in October. Winter turns the same routes into plow routes, with driveways opened and entries shoveled before the first car has to try them. The valley's weather is honest about what it wants: attention in July, and attention again at four in the morning in January. Both get it, week in and week out.
