About Gomes Lawn and Masonry, Inc

Out on Croton Point the meadow leans in the river wind, and the village behind it grows grass on a slope of one kind or another. Gomes Lawn and Masonry, Inc keeps those lawns even — mowing across the pitch, trimming where a deck can't reach, edging the walks so the line stays honest, and spring and fall cleanups on either end of the season. Hillside yards punish shortcuts; they show every wobble from the road. Doing it right on a grade and having it read flat from the street is a small, real craft. On a bright Hudson afternoon a finished Croton lawn looks like the reason people moved here in the first place.
