About Farney Tree & Excavation, LLC

Croghan sits where the Tug Hill snowbelt hands off to the Adirondack foothills, which is a polite way of saying the snow here gets measured in feet. Farney Tree & Excavation, LLC plows straight into it — driveways and long lanes cleared, walkways opened, sanding on the grades above the Beaver River, and return trips through lake-effect bands that can sit over the valley for two days. Lewis County winters reward a route that makes sense and equipment that keeps showing up. There is a stubborn kind of pride in the sound of a blade touching gravel after a thirty-inch night. The mail gets through, the truck gets out, the driveway is a driveway again.
