Westchester Snow removal

About Westchester Snow removal

Nor'easters find Cortlandt Manor twice — once off the Hudson, wet and heavy, and again on the back side when the wind swings northwest and packs drifts against every garage door on the Oregon Road hills. Westchester Snow removal works both halves of that storm. Plowing, driveway and walkway clearing, salting and sanding on the slick pitches, and a return pass after the town truck banks the end of the drive: the route is planned so nobody wakes up trapped. Snow is a business of hours rather than days, and the reward is small and exact — black pavement, a shoveled path to the steps, a street that has already forgotten the night. By the time the sun clears the Highlands, the work looks like nothing ever happened.
