Jays Lawn Care

About Jays Lawn Care

A June evening in the Corning valley runs long, the light lingering over the rooftops toward Painted Post while the swallows work the last of it. Jays Lawn Care spends those hours mowing — cut lines laid straight, the trimmer taken around posts and mailbox and the base of the maple, edges opened along the drive. The smell of it hangs in a neighborhood for an hour afterward, which is its own small advertisement. From the first spring cleanup to the last leaves of fall, the aim is a lawn that looks looked-after every week, not only the week it was done. Grass is a simple thing to care about, and a whole street feels different when somebody does.
