Empire Excavation & Hauling

About Empire Excavation & Hauling

Copenhagen sits on the shoulder of the Tug Hill Plateau, where the Deer River cuts a gorge through town and winter snows blowing off Lake Ontario are measured in feet rather than inches. Summer here is earned, and when the last gray snowbanks finally shrink away, the grass comes up hungry. Empire Excavation & Hauling takes on lawn work in that short, bright season, mowing and tidying yards that spent half the year buried under drifts. Every even, new-mown lawn on a Copenhagen street feels like a small victory over the long winter that came before. Once November sends squalls sweeping off the lake again, the lawns are left in order, ready for the white to return.
