Root's Tree Service

About Root's Tree Service

The Susquehanna makes a wide, slow turn through Conklin, and the flats along it grow the big silver maples and sycamores a river town gets. Root's Tree Service works those bottomland yards and the hillsides above them, taking out storm-split trunks, trimming what hangs over the house, pruning for a crown that sheds ice instead of catching it. High water and hard wind both leave their mark here, and the cleanup afterward is the whole job — limbs out, ruts smoothed, lawn returned to lawn. A removal near the water is sized up limb by limb before the saw starts, so nothing lands where it shouldn't. On a clear morning after all that, the yard looks wide and calm again, which is what a yard is for.
