Fortunato Lawn Care

About Fortunato Lawn Care

The Susquehanna makes a slow bend through Conklin, and on June mornings river fog sits in the flats until the sun climbs over the hills. Fortunato Lawn Care is out in it early — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, keeping beds weeded and shrubs in shape. Bottomland soil down here grows grass with real enthusiasm, so the calendar stays tight from May to October. Cleanups bookend the year, sticks in April and leaves in November, hauled off so the lawn can breathe. There's a quiet pride in a Conklin yard cut clean while the river is still steaming.
