About Northeast Snowplowing LLC

On a storm night in Colonie, the runway lights at the airport blur into soft halos, and snow comes slanting across a town that reaches from the Mohawk River to the sandy edge of the Pine Bush. Northeast Snowplowing LLC goes out into that weather to plow, opening driveways and paved approaches across this sprawling Capital Region suburb. The craft lives in each pass: the blade riding low enough to scrape down to asphalt, the banks pushed wide so the next storm has somewhere to go. A cleared stretch of pavement gleaming black under a streetlight, walled in white, is a small piece of order carved out of the storm. When the Northway starts humming again at first light, the point of all that night work is that people can join it.
