Loudonville's older streets keep their canopy — big oaks and maples leaning over the pavement, throwing dapple across lawns that stay half in shadow all afternoon. Ali's Landscaping & Property Services tends those yards and the newer ones around them: cutting, trimming, edging, bed care and the property upkeep that keeps a place looking intentional. Shade lawns are their own puzzle, thin in one corner and lush in the next, and they reward somebody paying close attention. In late September, when the light comes in sideways around six, a fresh-cut lawn under those trees is about as good as Colonie looks. That's worth staying out for the last hour of the day.
