About Bennett Landwork & Landscapes

June mornings in Colesville start under a sheet of river fog, and by nine the Susquehanna valley has given it all back to the sky. That is the hour Bennett Landwork & Landscapes likes best for mowing — grass still cool, stripes laying down straight across the long yards above the water. Trimming around the fence posts and the old maples, cutting the walk line until it reads like it was drawn with a straightedge, then blowing the clippings clear: it is a small ceremony, done well. Come October the same yards go gold, and the work turns to hauling leaves out of the hedgerows before the first hard frost pins them down. Lawn care through Colesville, Harpursville and the hamlets strung along the river.
