About Real Deal Landscaping

The village takes its name from the stream that runs through it, and even in late August Cold Brook's water comes down chilled from the Adirondack foothills. Real Deal Landscaping looks after lawns in this small Herkimer County village, where Route 8 heads north into the woods and summer evenings already carry a hint of fall. Their work leaves yards mown, trimmed and squared away against the forest edge. There is a plain pleasure in a newly cut lawn among these woods, a bright clearing with hemlock and maple close around it. At dusk, with the brook loud in the quiet, it looks exactly like home should.
