By late May the barges are moving past Coeymans Landing again, and the lawns on the streets above the river have hit their full stride. Sawpaw Outdoor Services keeps them there — weekly mowing, trimming into the tight spots around steps and posts, sharp edges along walks and drives, and cleanups at both ends of the season. Evenings run long here in June, the water going pewter below while the last yard of the day gets its final pass.
