About L&S Forestry Services LLC

Winter comes up the Hudson at Coeymans with nothing to slow it: wind straight off open water, ice riding the tide, and a cold that finds every driveway on the river road. L&S Forestry Services turns out into that — plowing drives and lots, clearing walkways down to the pavement, and pushing the banks back once the storm has finally quit. River towns wake early, so the work is to be earlier, headlights on and blade down while the sky is still the color of slate. There is a real pleasure in the first gray light showing one clean black pass where three inches used to be. Nobody thanks a plow, but everybody gets where they were going.
