Greg's Woodworking

About Greg's Woodworking

September in the town of Kirkland turns the light sideways: the hayfields go pale, the college hill above the village holds the last of the warmth, and lawns that struggled through August come back green almost overnight. Greg's Woodworking keeps lawns through that turn in the year — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing away whatever the season drops. It is unhurried work done at the pace the grass sets, which around here means often in May and less as the nights cool. What stays with you is the look of a yard at the end of an afternoon, mown in even passes with the shadows getting long across it. Clinton is a place that rewards tidy ground, and that is what we leave behind.
