Up on Riverview Road the orchards go busy in October and the whole hillside smells like apples and cold air. JP's Cutting Edge works those same weeks from the other direction — final mows, edges cut sharp one last time, leaves carried off Clifton Park lawns before the first freeze sets them in place. Then the blade goes on and the season flips: driveways plowed, walkways cleared, salt down on the packed spots that turn glassy overnight.
