About Snow Control Inc.

A nor'easter shows up on the radar two days early, and from then on the whole week arranges itself around it. Snow Control Inc. spends those hours the way plow outfits do — fuel topped off, blades checked, the route put in order from the first driveway to the last. Then it comes down on Clifton Park, hard and sideways past the Exit 9 lights, and the trucks go out and stay out until every property on the list is open to pavement. There is a particular hush afterward: a cleared drive at sunrise, steam lifting off the salt, the day possible again. Snow Control plows and treats properties in Clifton Park, Halfmoon, Malta, Round Lake and Mechanicville.
