About Turf Doctor

Old lake bottom lies under much of this part of Erie County, and a Clarence lawn will tell you all about it if you know how to look — thin here, lush there, all along a street like Greiner Road. Turf Doctor reads lawns that way, then does the plain work that helps: cutting at the right height, trimming, edging, and clearing a property in spring and again in fall. Late May is when a yard decides what kind of summer it is going to have. Get the cutting rhythm right then and the rest of the season tends to follow. Watching a tired lawn thicken up week over week is its own kind of reward.
