When a band sets up off Lake Ontario in February, Cicero can go from bare pavement to a foot of snow between supper and sunrise. Blackburn Lawn & Landscape works the front edge of that, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and putting down salt so the first step out the door is a safe one. By May the same trucks have traded blades for mowers, and the season turns to cutting, trimming and holding a crisp edge along the drive.
