About Maple Ridge Civil

The Sauquoit Creek valley keeps its snow. Hills on both sides of Chadwicks hold what falls, and the old mill streets narrow a little more with every pass of the plow. Maple Ridge Civil works the driveways and lots through it — plowing, pushing the banks back before they swallow a turnaround, shoveling walks and steps, spreading salt and sand where the grade tips down toward the creek. Storms here come in gray and patient and stay for hours. The trucks go out at the front of one and keep circling until it quits, because getting to work on a January Monday shouldn't have to be an adventure.
