About Good Neighbor Tree Services

Snow comes to Cattaraugus off Lake Erie in long grey bands, and the hills above the creek hold onto it well into April. Good Neighbor Tree Services works the hillside lots and the valley lanes running down toward Zoar, taking out ash that the borers hollowed, trimming maples back from the road and the roofline. Pruning here is done for the long haul — a cut that lets a wet snowload slide instead of splitting a fork. When a squall line breaks limbs the length of the village, the storm damage cleanup keeps at it until the lawns and the shoulders are clear. What you get at the end is a bright open yard, in a place where light is worth something.
