GF Woodworks & Tree Care

About GF Woodworks & Tree Care

Catskill Creek comes down out of the hills and folds into the Hudson, and along its banks the hemlock and black birch grow thick enough to darken an afternoon. GF Woodworks & Tree Care tends the yards on those creekside lanes, thinning a crowded crown until the creek light comes through, pruning young hardwoods toward the shape they will keep. Removals are handled deliberately — a leaning trunk taken down in measured lengths, the wood cut to stove size before it ever leaves the property. When a thunderhead crosses Greene County and drops limbs over the driveway, the cleanup begins before the ground has dried. The best moment is stepping back at dusk to a clean lawn and a tree with room around it again.
