About Taconic Landscaping

The Taconic ridges run north of Carmel Hamlet in long blue folds, and the parkway that borrows their name carries the color show south every October. Taconic Landscaping tends the lawns in the country underneath — mowing, trimming, edging, and the cleanups that start and finish a growing year. Grass up on these slopes greens late and holds late, so the season here keeps its own calendar. The trick on a hillside yard is a mower line that follows the land instead of fighting it, and a border cut sharp enough to read from the road. Unglamorous, weekly, and genuinely satisfying to look back at.
