Canton empties out when the college terms end, and the village settles into its own pace — long light across the green, porch doors open, the whole place unhurried. "Local Boys" keeps the lawns through that stretch: mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups on the streets around the village and out along the surrounding farm roads.
