Canajoharie Creek cuts its gorge right at the village and drops into the Boiling Pot, and on a still day you can hear it from the lawns up above. ACED Landscapes mows and trims those yards along the hill streets and out the Wintergreen Park road — a level cut on uneven ground, trimmer work around stone and ledge, edges kept crisp where the grass meets the walk. Soil here runs thin over limestone in places, so cutting height matters more than most people expect. Spring and fall bring the raking, gathering and hauling that reset a yard at either end of the green months. It is plain, visible work, and the difference shows from the road.
