About Berkshire Irrigation, Inc.

Canaan lies against the Massachusetts line where the Taconic hills fold into the Berkshires, stone walls running off into the trees behind half the lawns in town. Berkshire Irrigation, Inc. mows this country: regular cuts, trimming along walls and outbuildings, edging beds and drives, and spring and fall cleanups that clear whatever the woods send down. Grass grows differently in a hill town, shade on one side and full sun on the other, sometimes on the very same property. Reading that and cutting to it is the craft of the thing. By June the lawns out toward Queechy Lake look like they belong to the hills they sit in.
