By September the black muck ground west of Caledonia is worked hard and late, and dust hangs gold in the low sun long after supper. Harvest creek lawn care keeps house lawns looking settled while the fields are anything but — cut even, trimmed to the foundation, leaves gathered before they can pack down and smother the turf. Spring runs the other way: the first pass of the year, winter's litter raked out, the borders redefined along the drive. In between it is a weekly visit and a straight cut, so a yard never gets ahead of anybody. Farm country deserves a tidy dooryard, and that is the entire idea here.
