About Jwh snowplowing

A Kaisertown driveway is one car wide and runs the whole depth of the lot, straight back to a garage that opens on an alley. Plowing it well is a matter of geometry and nerve, and Jwh snowplowing does it in the dark with the radio turned low. Driveways, walkways, and the apron where the city plow left a wall of hard-packed slush — cleared, shoveled and salted until the way out is genuinely a way out. Nobody sees the truck; they see pavement in the morning and get to work on time. In this city, on that kind of night, it counts as a gift.
