About Gray’s Lawn Care & Landscaping LLC

In June the light comes off Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park and lays itself flat across every yard in the neighborhood, and that is the hour Gray's Lawn Care & Landscaping LLC likes best. Buffalo greens up late — the lake holds its cold well into May — so when the growth finally arrives it arrives all at once, thick and insistent. The work is mowing, edging, string trimming, and the cleanups that bracket the growing season on either end. What the crew is really after is the moment the mower shuts off: stripes lying straight, the line along the front walk cut clean enough to run a finger down. A city of small lots rewards that kind of attention, and Buffalo notices.
