AAA Carting

About AAA Carting

At four in the morning, Buchanan is fog off the Hudson and the streetlights on Westchester Avenue standing patiently in it. AAA Carting is out in that hour with the plow down, opening driveways and parking lots before the village wakes, salting the walks where damp turns to glaze underfoot. Storms come up this stretch of the river valley and drop wet, heavy snow, the kind that clings to a shovel, so the work goes in passes — back and forth, back and forth, until the pavement shows black again. By the time the sky lightens over Lents Cove, the way out is open and nobody has to give it a second thought. That is the whole point of a night like that: a driveway that asks nothing of you at six-thirty.
