Burns Landscaping and Lawn Care

About Burns Landscaping and Lawn Care

Brownville sits where the Black River drops and runs on toward Dexter and the lake, and on a June morning that water is loud enough to hear from the yards along the village streets. Burns Landscaping and Lawn Care works those lawns — mowing, edging, trimming, keeping the beds tidy — in North Country daylight that stretches a summer evening out past nine o'clock. There is a real satisfaction in a crisp edge along a front walk, in the strip of shade under old maples cut clean, in a lawn that reads as cared for from the road. Autumn arrives early on this side of the county, so the leaf work runs hard right up to the first hard frost coming in off Ontario. The reward is a plain one: a yard the family notices on the way up the drive, week after week.
