About Modern Urban Design Landscaping

Fort Greene is a place of angles, the park's hill, the brownstone cornices, the long straight run of the avenues, and a garden here works best when it answers that geometry. Modern Urban Design Landscaping shapes those spaces: mowing and edging the turf, pruning and trimming to hold a line, planting and mulching the beds, keeping it clean at both ends of the growing year. Dusk is when the shapes read clearest, hedges squared, lawn crisp against the bluestone. The lots are small, which means every decision shows. Done right, a Brooklyn yard looks intentional from the first step through the gate.
