About Brooklyn Tree Service

Brooklyn grows its trees in the narrow spaces between things: a pit in the sidewalk, a strip of backyard behind a brownstone, the long green rise of Prospect Park at the end of the block. Brooklyn Tree Service works those tight rooms — pruning a London plane back off a third-floor window, trimming a yard cherry away from the fence line so it stops fighting the neighbors. Removals are a study in rope and patience, lowered piece by piece into a street that never fully stops moving. After a summer squall comes off the harbor and drops half a maple across the parked cars, the storm damage cleanup goes on until the curb is clear. It is city work at heart, and the payoff is a block that breathes easier by morning.
