About BK Bumpkin

Bushwick grows things nobody planted — ailanthus in the fence line, vines climbing the chain-link, grass finding the seam in a concrete yard. BK Bumpkin steps into all that in April with a mower and a set of shears and decides which green gets to stay. Overgrowth comes down, borders get drawn, the lawn takes its first real cut of the year and the whole yard suddenly has a shape to it. There's something plainly good about a rough back lot turned into a place you'd carry a coffee out to. Lawn care and yard cleanups for Brooklyn.
