About Green Haven Landscapes LLC

September at the edge of the Wertheim marshes turns the light the color of cider, the phragmites lean all one way, and the lawns finally exhale after a long August. Green Haven Landscapes LLC uses that stretch the way it should be used — aerating compacted ground, overseeding thin turf, feeding roots while the soil is still warm, and mowing on a schedule that lets the grass thicken. The sandy loam out here rewards anyone willing to put organic matter back into it. Weekly cutting, clean edges and tidy beds carry through to the leaf work of November. Come the following June, a lawn given a good autumn looks like a different property altogether.
