Twice a year Brockport changes hands entirely. In January the canal lies drained and the lift bridges stand still under snow blown in off the lake; by May the towpath is green again and mowers are running from Park Avenue out toward Route 19. LC Property Maintenance & Landscape LLC works both halves of that year — plowing drives and salting walks through the dark months, then mowing, trimming, edging and cleaning up properties once the grass takes off. Winter work is measured in pavement showing before sunrise; summer work is measured in a line so clean it looks drawn. Two seasons, one habit of finishing what was started.
