About City Green Landscaping

Brewster's village is a compact thing — brick storefronts, the Harlem line pulling in at the end of its run, streets of small lots stacked up the hillside above the tracks. City Green Landscaping works that close-in scale and the roads out past it, mowing and trimming through the green months, edging along sidewalks and driveway aprons, and hauling off the leaves that pile into the corners of tight yards each October. On a summer evening the cut lines run straight down to the curb and the whole street looks a little prouder for it. In winter the calendar flips to plowing, shoveling and de-icing, with drives and parking spaces cleared while it is still dark so the early train never becomes a question. It is plain, steady work for a plain, steady village, done the same way whether the address is a corner lot downtown or a place out on the ridge.
