About McGinn Property Services

This far up its course the Genesee is still young and narrow, curling through Belfast between hay ground and hills that stand back politely on both sides. McGinn Property Services mows and trims the yards along that valley — village lots, farmhouse dooryards, the wide grass that runs down toward the old rail bed turned walking trail. June is the month that tests you: rain every third day, growth that will not wait, and a mower running from morning through the long light. There's a particular good feeling in the last pass of an evening, when a shaggy acre has turned into something even and green and the swallows come out over it. Cleanups bracket the year at both ends, so a property starts the season clear and finishes it clear.
