About Great Westchester Multi Services Inc.

A February storm around Bedford Hills rarely commits to one thing — it comes in wet off the Sound, glazes the hills along Route 117, then hardens overnight into something that has to be broken rather than pushed. Great Westchester Multi Services Inc. runs plows and salt through nights like that, keeping driveways, aprons and walks passable while the thaw and the refreeze trade places. In the green months the same properties get mowed, edged and mulched, hedges taken in, spring debris cleared out from under the yews. Two very different kinds of work, one standard: the place looks handled when the truck leaves. There is a plain pride in being the reason somebody made it out on time.
