Budget Lawncare

About Budget Lawncare

Bath was laid out around Pulteney Square, and the village still keeps that green at its heart, with the Steuben County courthouse looking on. Budget Lawncare carries some of that village-square tidiness out to the lawns of Bath. Late spring in the Cohocton River valley is generous, rain off the hills and lengthening days pushing grass hard, and a regular mow is what keeps a yard from getting away. There is a plainspoken satisfaction in a lawn cut even and trimmed neat along the sidewalk, the kind of yard that looks right on a street of old porches. Up the valley the hills go blue at dusk, and the lawn out front holds the last of the light.
