Scalia's Landscape

About Scalia's Landscape

August in Genesee County smells like hot grass and fairground dust, and the lawns around Batavia are at their thickest and hungriest for a cut. Scalia's Landscape works that peak hard, mowing and edging so a property holds its shape right through the heaviest growth of the year. Six months on, the same ground is under a foot of drifted white and the trucks are out plowing drives and lots back to open pavement. A farm town keeps its own calendar, and the work follows it — grass in its season, snow in its season, nothing left half-done in either. The satisfying part is always the same: standing back at a yard, or a cleared lot, that looks squared away.
