Baldwin Place sits where the land starts folding into stone walls and hardwood ridges, with the reservoirs nearby holding on to the cold. Eddies Yard works those hills the whole year through — mowing, trimming, edging and cleaning up lawns while things grow, then plowing, shoveling and salting the steep drives once winter takes over. Snow lingers longer up here than it does a few miles south on Route 6, and a north-facing driveway can stay glazed for days. Clearing one properly, right down to the gravel, is worth the extra pass.
