About Landscapes by Saltalamacchia

Sumpwams Creek turns bronze in November, the phragmites all bending one direction with the wind. Landscapes by Saltalamacchia works the yards along that low ground in Babylon: mowing and bed care while things still grow, leaf cleanups when they stop, then plowing and shoveling once the creek edges freeze over. Storms cross the water before they reach these streets, and they pick up weight on the way. A driveway taken back to clean pavement is a small mercy handed to somebody before they are even awake. Then spring returns to the marsh, and so do the mowers.
