Two hours matter most in this work. One is five in the morning in February, plow down, the west-side rise toward Aurelius still dark, pushing a driveway open before anybody in the house has to think about it. The other is a July afternoon with the mower running long lines and the trimmer finishing the fence. Locust Hill Landscaping keeps both ends of Auburn's year — plowing and shoveling, salting the ice off walks and lots, then mowing, trimming, edging and hauling the yard's leftovers off in spring and again in fall. The months between are only the pause, and the property ought to look the same either way: passable, level, done.
