Farrand's Landscape

About Farrand's Landscape

From the Athens waterfront the Hudson runs wide and the little lighthouse stands out mid-channel, changing color with whatever the weather is doing that hour. Farrand's Landscape keeps village and country properties in shape on both sides of the calendar: mowing, trimming, edging, mulching and seasonal cleanups while the river valley is green, then plowing, walk clearing and salt down once the wind comes downriver with snow behind it. A Greene County winter morning poses a straightforward question — is the driveway open or isn't it — and answering it early is the job. In summer the answer is a lawn cut evenly right to the edge of the walk, with nothing left behind on the pavement. Athens, Coxsackie, Catskill, Leeds and New Baltimore.
