About papa yards

The first flurry of the year often catches Arlington at dusk — streetlights coming on, flakes turning gold beneath them, the streets going quiet block by block. papa yards watches that sky and gets moving: plowing driveways, shoveling walks and steps, salting the spots that ice over before anything else does. Some streets are close-packed and short on room, so a good push is as much about where the snow goes as how fast it comes off. There is a quiet reward in a cleared drive waiting in the dark, finished before anyone is awake to see it happen. Snow removal for Arlington homes, one storm at a time.
