Northstar Landscape and Supply

About Northstar Landscape and Supply

The night after a winter storm, the hills around Argyle go silent and silver under the stars. This corner of Washington County, east of the Hudson and named for Argyll in Scotland by the Highlanders who settled a colonial land grant here, is open dairy country, and the wind off its ridges packs snow into the lanes that run back to farmhouses and barns. Northstar Landscape and Supply provides snow removal in Argyle — plowing drives, breaking up the drifts and making a path out to Route 40 or wherever the morning leads. With Cossayuna Lake frozen white and the fields still glittering, a newly cut lane through the snow is a dark ribbon you can follow home. That is the kind of order a hill-country winter calls for.
