Andes sits high in the Catskills, and nearly everything about winter here comes down to grade — roads that climb, drives that switchback, snow that stacks deeper than it ever does in the valleys below. 3-D Welding runs the plow on those pitches, opening driveways and lots where a stuck car is a genuine problem and a clean push is the only remedy. Storms arrive over the Delaware hills and settle in for a day at a stretch. More of this work happens in the dark than in daylight, one property to the next, headlights on white.
